2 reasons you may not be getting pregnant…
…and what you can do to improve your chances of conception
When you start to try for a baby there is an excitement that comes with the prospect of a new life that you are creating together with your partner. However if you haven’t become pregnant in a few months after starting to try this excitement can change to worry and anxiety as to whether or not something is wrong.
Getting your body into top condition prior to trying for a baby is one way to help increase your changes of becoming pregnant sooner and you can read are tips on ‘what you can do to improve your fertility’ here.
Sadly even if you are in top condition, I can still take a long time to get pregnant – up to 2 years in some cases.
There are two reasons you may not be getting pregnant as quickly as you want to.
- Emotional Blockages – if our body is stressed and holding onto past emotions we can’t fully relax and focus on baby making. By using kinesiology to focus on your reproductive and nervous systems we may provide you with the support you need to clear these blockages. Combining this with the correct nutritional support helps the body to be fully focused on conception.
- Low thyroid function – the thyroid is hormonally linked which means that if it isn’t functioning correctly it will be very hard to fall pregnant easily. By getting the correct nutritional and herbal support we can encourage your body back to health.
In clinic we combine kinesiology and nutritional support with reflexology which we schedule around your cycle to stimulate the reproductive system before ovulation and cementing it after ovulation.
When we work together combining these treatments we have a fantastic results for couples who have been trying for a long time.
“My husband and I were trying to conceive for 18 months and whilst trying to follow all advice from specialists we were still unsuccessful. We then discovered Siobhan and both had reflexology, which was structured around my cycle. Siobhan was very informative, caring and supportive throughout. We are eternaly grateful to her as we now have a beautiful son, We continue to have treatments with her to keep us stress free as parents. ” – Pauline & Brian
I will be adding to my Fertility Reflexology skills this month and be attending a course for Reproreflexology which focuses particularly around supporting couples undergoing IVF.
